Paracelsus - Health and Healing

Paracelsus

Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim (1493-1541), who called himself Paracelsus, is considered the founder of a new healing art. His philosophical thinking was the basis of his medical doctrinewith which he was way ahead of his time.

At its core stands man as a micro-cosmos and an analogy and image of the macro-cosmos surrounding him.

Paracelsus devoted his entire life to the search of the causes of illnesses and their cure with natural remedies. His knowledge about minerals and metals, elements and herbs, sheds light on the mystery of healing.

The physician, healer, and philosopher Paracelsus understood man and nature as a unity. For a long time, he was considered a dreamer, idealist, and mystic due to his life philosophy.

In truth, however, he was as a guidepost who wanted to show his fellow men how to lead a happy, healthy, and fulfilled life
